Overall responsibilities

The Master Aggregator Monitoring Facilitator is responsible for developing monitoring mechanisms to track the incoming and outgoing feedstock of the Master Aggregator. This position maintains the Master Aggregator (MA) feedstock database and disaggregates incoming and outgoing feedstock data based on material type, price, and quantity, among others. The Monitoring Facilitator is responsible for training MA staff in collecting and reporting the required information outside of the project's lifetime.

The Master Aggregator Monitoring Facilitator will spend 50% of their time in the Master Aggregator facility, actively monitoring, tracking, and recording data, as well as training MA staff to do the same. The remaining time will be spent coordinating with iDE and other commercial partners of the project, including coordination visits to partners' offices in Da Nang.

Specific responsibilities
  • Monitor and document incoming feedstock based on suppliers, type of material, price, etc.
  • Monitor and document outgoing feedstock based on buyer, type of material, price, etc.
  • Input data into relevant database and upkeep regularly based on pre-agreed frequency
  • Create reports to communicate data to iDE and PwP commercial partners
  • Train and support Master Aggregator staff to track, document, and report feedstock data beyond PwP project's timeframe
  • Build rapport and maintain good relationship with MA staff and relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain close contact and communication with iDE and commercial partner POCs
  • Coordinate and report to supervisor(s) on a regular basis
  • Regularly travel to all assigned locations, including 50% of time spent at the Master Aggregator facility
  • Closely coordinate with Monitoring & Evaluation team to ensure accurate monitoring and reporting of data
  • Participate in all relevant meetings and workshops
Qualification & skill requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree. Fresh graduate is acceptable.
  • Experience in data collection, M&E, or other relevant field is an advantage
  • Understanding of plastic recycling and willingness to learn about MA's specific technology
  • Experience facilitating trainings or group sessions
  • Ability to responsibly manage workload independently
  • Ability to work with various national and international team members and flexibility to adapt to different work conditions
  • Ability to travel and undertake work in different locations in Da Nang
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail and the internet
  • Familiarity with internet based software systems such as Google Apps
  • Written and oral communication skills in English and Vietnamese, including ability to present coherent and convincing messages to different audiences
  • A self-starter always striving for excellence, with an entrepreneurial and innovative mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure; with a willingness and ability to work in arduous and challenging situations
