Passerelles numériques is looking for an Education and Selection Assistant for the training center in Da Nang.
Under the direct supervision of the Education Manager of the Center, he/she will be required to support the Education team in the supervision of the student life and the Selection team for all the steps of the selection process.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Student life
Support the different departments to prepare the coming of the new batch of students: prepare all the paperwork needed, keep informed the partners and the families.
Support the Education team for preparing all the events related to the student life: integration week, graduation ceremony, monthly activities…
Ensure the follow-up of 1 to 2 boarding houses for the housekeeping, respect of the rules and students’ activities.
2.Selection
Support the Selection team in the preparation of the communication material, equipment and paperwork required during the selection process.
Ensure smooth relationships and communication with the partners: Study Promotion Association, Governmental Agencies, Schools and NGO’s.
Join all the steps of the selection: information session in the high schools, written test and motivation interview with the students, social investigation in the families of the eligible candidates.
3.Reporting
Contribute to do the data inputs and the translation English/Vietnamese whenever it is needed.
Ensure that data are updated and documents are filed in a systematic way.
Support the Education and Selection team for the capitalization and needed reporting such as the Annual Selection Report.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
General skills
Required Bachelor degree
Experience in social work would be highly appreciated
Excellent communication skills / organization skills
Capacity to build and keep good relationship with our partners
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook...
Good level of English (spoken and written language will be English)
Specific skills
Good capacity of adaptation
Ready to travel in mountainous areas
Must be dedicated and involved to the students project
Strong sense of responsibility and initiative
Confident to handle complex situation
Rigorous and demanding
Good socio-economic knowledge of Vietnam will be a plus.
